Our Newest House Mate Is A Chinese Lady

&ldquoDa jia hao, wo shi Xiaoyou&rdquo. Our newest housemate introduced herself over lunch last week. She did not look Chinese but she told us that she is half Chinese and half Filipino. Her mom is Filipino while her dad is Chinese and she grew up in a household where Mandarin Chinese, English and Filipino are the medium of communication. She moved in with us since her current work place is close to our house and all the travelling back and forth according to is taking too much time. Linda who has always been the friendly one decided to show Cynthia around the house and filled her about all her new house mates. Linda then found out that Cynthia is one of the elite Chinese seo specialists working at the newly opened IT firm a couple of blocks away from where we live. No wonder she readily took up the room for rent advert that we placed on the newspapers as well as on the internet. She did even haggle with the room rate and just asked how soon can she settle in.
