Carla could not ask for better friends than Carina and Cheryl. Her best friends have proven her time and again of their loyalty and love for her, especially when she was about to marry. Knowing that Carla's family lives miles away, the girls were the ones who assisted Carla throughout the wedding preparations. Aside from the wedding dresses of the whole entourage, Carina and Cheryl also took care of the souvenir items and the bridesmaid gifts, too. They were also very hands on in choosing the menu during the reception. When she had her wedding gown fitted the last time, the girls made sure that they were also present. They were the first to tell Carla how lovely she was in her gown. And every time Carla would manifest wedding jitters, the girls were always at her side, holding her hands. Carla could not imagine herself without her two best buddies. These girls have made a lot of things easier for her. Without them, her life would have been dull. Thanks to the girls, Carla can look forward to a beautiful wedding. |

People who do not have friends are ever lonely people. Friends can be very instrumental in the success or the failure of a person. Good friends are very few and there are moments when they hurt the people they care about a lot but that does not mean that they are not good friends. I have friends whom i really adore. We have been through very good times and there are other times that were really horrible but the meaning and relevance of our relationship made us be friends for a long time. We do a lot of things so that we can spice up our friendship and not make it boring at all. There are times we bring presents for friends and these gifts are not just given at special occasions like birthdays and Christmas. We give them to each other all the time so that we can remind ourselves all the time that the friendship that we have is real. It works wonderfully all the time and even we get at loggerheads and refuse to talk to each other those gifts is a good reminder. |

There are some very mean ladies who make fun of our mother all the time. When my mother got pregnant with triplets, my sister brother and I, she gave up her upscale layer career to be a full time mother. Other ladies who knew her did not understand that. My mother did not want a stranger to mistreat us and my father thought it was a good idea she keep and eye on them. My father is in very good shape but my mother is a bit raggedy. This nature has made her go out less and this saddens my father. So we decided to boost up her confidence by giving her a total make over. She could not believe that she was getting confidence coaching from her children. My father had invited her to her party and we had told him that she would show up. So we took her to the salon, got her hair done. Then we took her to the spa so that she could have her skin treated, and her nails done. After that we took her shopping for a breath taking dress and then we dropped her off at the party and our parents started dating again. |

I come from a very neat circle of friends. These are friendships that were formed in both high school and the others were formed in college. I remember one time my fiance got the perfect gift for the wife of another friend of ours. The guy actually thought that my fiance was interested in his wife and even if the wife defended her friend, my fiance, he still did not believe. It all began when he gave her a very good birthday present on her birthday. My fiance was good in one thing amongst many others, getting the gifts for friends women. He was particularly close to her though they were never interested in her romantically. Her husband did not know that part though. My fiance got her a set of bathroom towels that were very beautiful. That is the one friend we have who is a neat freak. She likes organizing things in her home and those towels were the missing part of her bathroom. No wonder the husband thought infidelity was going on there because of the intimate knowledge. |

My dad has always been a fan of golf. I have seen him play in several occasions but he has never competed because of the involving nature of his job which demanded his presence all the time. After retirement, I asked dad if he will ever consider competing in golf, and he agreed to give it a try. I have always known one golf psychologist and I thought this was the opportunity to hire him in order for him to help dad in the coming competition. He was going to teach dad on the various paying tips that were going to guarantee him a win. Dad was very happy about the idea, and the training started immediately. I registered him for a competition that was due in two months time and I knew that in those months, he will be fully prepared for the competition. His opponent was a tough one, a very famous golf player in our country. The competition date came and they played. Apparently, there was no winner as both of them had acquired the same points. It was a win for dad though, because he was not as famous as his opponent. |

I haven’t had the chance to go fishing on many occasions - when I do, I actually like to do coarse fishing with my coarse fishing tackle - but one time that stands out was in Oklahoma. About an hour from Tulsa, I went fishing on a pontoon boat on a local lake. I love being on the water, but am used to sailing on cruise ships, not on small boats. I didn’t have an issue with sea sickness, although the ride was pretty rocky. Water easily splashed onto the boat, but we still had a great day. We put down the anchor to have a nice picnic lunch and were able to jump into the warm water to swim. I didn’t see any fish, but we decided to throw out the fishing poles anyway. To my amazement, there is now technology that allows the boater to see what is lurking underneath the water. You can find a spot that seems to have more fish. I could see the fish on the tracker, but we still didn’t catch any. The experience was still fun, although there was no fish for dinner that night. |
